Oct 2003 - Dash earned his AKC Herding PreTrial Title Oct 2003
In 2004 Dash and I participated in two AHBA trials and earned a Junior Herding Dog
title and level one Herding Trial Dog title.
March 27, 2005 - Dash earned his Herding Ranch Dog I at AHBA trials in Kerrville.
April 2005 - Dash earns 2 qualifying legs in Herding Started Course A.
Dec. 10, 2005 - Dash completed his HSAs with a score of 90. He earned Reserve High
In Trial (RHIT) in this title run on sheep under judge Joy Sebastian-Hall at the Collie
Club of Austin AKC trial.
April 2, 2006 Dash earned his first leg in Herding Trial Arena Dog I on goats at
Alamar Farms under Judge Bonnie Daley. Dash was High Scoring Dog, too.
October 2005 - Dash finished his conformation championship at Travis County Kennel
Club show in Austin Texas under Judge Lee Brown. I handled him in the Bred By Exhibitor
class.
April, 2005, Dash's 1/2 sister ND earned her first two legs
in HSAs. ND finished her HSA Dec 10, 2005 with a score of 84. Handler error (yes, me) cost
her points on the re-pen. ND ( SilverDust Indigo Image) and Dash are both sired by Deb
Casey's Register of Merit Ch Maitland's Rio Bravo CD HSAs (Taz). ND's mom is Ch
Maitlands-SilverDust Sydni who was dame of most herding titled ACDs in 2002 and voted hero
dog of the year 2005. The legacy of these dogs lives on generation to generation.
Dash wins
first place
in his age group (12-18 months) under judge Kathy Hamilton and
second place
in herding titled properties class under judge Scott Hamilton at the 2003 National
Specialty in Belton, Texas, October 2003.

Dash is prcd affected. In October 2006 at the ACDCA National Specialty, Dr Greg
Acland examined Dash. He said he was in Stage One ( fundus mottling) and beginning to
loose low light vision. May 2008, age 6 years he was re-amined and determined to be still
in Stage 1.
